Spice up your Ads with Symbols

Looking for a way to make your classified ads stand out from the crowd? Ever wonder how to make all those pretty symbols that everyone else uses? Well, wonder no more. MTGO uses a special character set to allow formatting of text in both chat boxes and classifieds posts. In chat boxes, you can use the combination of CTRL + Q then a number or letter to create the colored mana symbols, generic mana symbols, spell type symbols and more. CTRL + Q + W for example is the white mana symbol.
What happens though, when you want to add symbols to your ML Bot classified ad? Since you can't use the CTRL key, you need to use the symbol codes instead. The codes are the same, but instead of using the CTRL key, you need to use special formatting. To create a white mana symbol like we did above, all we need to do is type [sW]. You can use this same formatting to create all the symbols. Here is a small list to get you started.

• [sU] : Blue Mana Symbol
• [sB] : Black Mana Symbol
• [sR] : Red Mana Symbol
• [sG] : Green Mana Symbol
• [sp] : Snow Mana Symbol

• [sMute] : Mute Face

A final tip, many people don't know how to make a link to a card in the chat boxes. It's simple, just put curly brackets around the card name and let MTGO do the rest. A link to Trade Secrets, for example would be {Trade Secrets}
