Fate Reforged is just around the corner, so let's get familiar with mechanics in the latest set.
- Bolster N: choose a creature with the least toughness among creatures you control. If there's a tie, choose one of those creatures. Put N +1/+1 counters on it. What is important, bolster doesn't target any creature so if your opponent in response will kill a creature with the least toughness, you check which creature under your control is the weakest now and put counters on it. This mechanic appears only in Abzan.
- Dash: you may cast a creature spell for its dash cost. If you do, it gains haste, and it's returned from the battlefield to its owner's hand at the beginning of the next end step. Of course, it will return to your hand only if it's still on the battlefield. Dash is reserved for Mardu wedge.
- Manifest: put the top card of your library face-down as a morph. It's a 2/2 colorless creature with no name, no abilities, and no creature types. You may turn it up any time for its mana cost if it is a creature card. Turning a face-down creature face up doesn't use the stack and can't be responded to.
