For the purposes of this discussion, I am going to assume that you are running the bot on a sufficiently powered laptop that is your primary computer and that you are required to have it, either to take notes for school or for your job. Because of that, I am going to assume the only times you can the bot is over night and a little more on the weekends, depending on your plans for that particular day. There also maybe spots when you can run the bot a couple of hours here and there, say while going to a movie or playing Magic at your local gaming center.
First of all, I would state that you are a new and part time bot. While this may go against conventional wisdom, I believe in being honest with your customers. If it is practical, I would post a link where you have a schedule of when you plan for the bot to be running. It doesn't have to be necessarily all-inclusive, but enough that people can trust that you are a real person and take running a bot professionally.
Secondly, create a user profile on your machine exclusively for the bot. The process is fairly easy. You go into Control Panel and then search for User Accounts. Create a new account, add the shortcut to start the bot in the start menu and whenever you log into that account, the bot will start happily for you. While this may seem like a waste to do, what this will do is give you a clean environment to run the bot. All those little programs that start up when you use your computer will not run when starting under the bot user. This will free up memory and CPU cycles which will make your bot more reliable when running, assuming of course, you log off before you start the bot.
