Commander 2015: mechanics

Commander 2015 goes live on 13 November and features five enemy colored 100-card decks (342 different cards). There are 56 totally new cards, which will be legal in Vintage and Legacy. Let's check out some of the new mechanics you'll have the opportunity to play with.

• Myriad - triggers only in a multiplayer game. Whenever a creature with myriad attacks, for each opponent other than the defending player, you get a token copy of that creature to attack that opponent or a planeswalker that opponent controls. Exile the tokens at the end of combat.
• Experience counter is a player counter that will make your Commander grow in power during the course of the game. You keep experience counters even if the creature that caused you to get them leaves the battlefield.

The Commander 2015 will not be available in the MtGO store. These cards will be distributed as prizes in Legandary Cube events.
