Uptime Bar & Blacklist

We introduced yesterday two new features on the Online Control Panel: the Uptime Bar and the Blacklist.

The Uptime Bar is a log of the status (online/offline) of your bot. It records the online/offline availability of your bot and show it for the last two days. A blue bar means that the bot was online, while a red bar means that it was offline.

The Blacklist is, as the name itself says, a tool to prevent specific users from trading with your bots. Use it wisely :)

The Uptime Bar is available directly in the Dashboard while the Blacklist is available with a click on the proper button on the left.

Percentage Correction evaluator

Thanks to James, we have a new tool to evaluate the percentage corrections that best fit your bot.

The excel spreesheet is useful when trying to determine what percentage corrections work for your bot. Trying to find the settings that maximize the income and make the bot productive is not an easy task.... this helps a bit!

Many thanks again!

UPDATE: we updated the spreesheet

Directly quoting James, the creator:

There are 2 tabs in the workbook folks can choose from, they are "Settings" and "Prices".

The "Settings" tab will allow people to see how different percentage settings within the bot will interact with the PersonalPercentages.txt file and show them the final result.

The "Prices" tab is similar to the old file, in that it will allow folks to see what they are going to be selling and/or buying a card for. This sheet really is to be used for testing buying and selling prices when first setting up a bot.

There are 2 other sheets, but they do not perform any calculations. The first of them is "Corrections" and this sheet is basically a calculation of the percentages and provides the matrix for which the first 2 sheets derive their final correction result. The second sheet, called "About" is just a quick thanks to folks for their feedback and how they can get in touch.

When and how to cash out tickets

Hello, Fellow botters!

Today I am going to discuss about how and when  to cash out your tickets.

First I will tell you how I have my bots currently running. I run 4 chains with 13 bots total.

Chain A: 3 Bots, 1- Selling 2-Buying. With each bot at a starting ticket level of 25
Chain B: 5 Bots, 2- Selling 3- Buying. With the 2 selling bots starting ticket level at 25 and the 3 buying bots ticket starting level of 50 tickets
Chain C: 3 Bots, 1- Selling 2-Buying. With the 1 selling bot starting ticket level at 25 and the 2  buying bots ticket starting level of 50 tickets
Chain D: 3 Bots, 1- Selling 2-Buying. With each bot at a starting ticket level of 25

With that said I only keep 475 tickets on my bots. I know people think that is low but I don't buy  cards over $20 or more than four of any card.

Every day at a specific time I reset those bots to their starting ticket level and the tickets I have left over in surplus is my profit.

example:

Chain A
Bot 1 -(selling bot) starting ticket level 25. I have 87 on there. Surplus = 52 tickets
Bot 2 -(buying bot) starting ticket level 25. I have 5 on there. Surplus = -20
Bot 3 -(buying bot) starting ticket level 25. I have 13 on there. Surplus = -12

I sell/made profit of 20 tickets. that's what I cash out.

So when do I cash out?

I always keep half of what my starting ticket level per bot  on my personal account so (475/2) 238 tickets. If yours is 2000 than I would keep 1000 on your personal account at all times. This will get you threw the high buy volume days. So after I reset my bots to their starting ticket level and I have 238 tickets left, I cash out that surplus.

Where do I cash out my tickets?

Well that's my secret, but you can cash out your tickets with  me. I buy and sell any reasonable amount of tickets and I am available usually about 12 hours out of the day. Below are my prices that I buy and sell at:

Inside the U.S.A

Buy  100 tickets for 94 usd
Sell  25 tickets for 26usd
Sell  50 tickets for 51usd
Sell  100 tickets for 100usd <----------(best value)

Outside the U.S.A

Buy 100 tickets for 94usd
Sell 25 tickets for 28usd
Sell 50 tickets for 54usd
Sell 100 tickets for 102usd <----------(best value)

MTGO Library Bot 5.69 is out

ML Bot 5.69 fixes a couple of bugs of 5.67 and 5.68, namely some bizarre chat movements at the end of the trades and a wrong click on the Mtgo Collection filters, causing the tixs not to be made tradable (thanks Kim).

Among the new features, ML Bot 5.69 restarts Magic Online if it takes more than 850 MB of RAM. This is the best way to fix Mtgo memory leakage, much better than a timed restart (which still holds, for safety reasons).

Duel Deck: Sorin vs Tibalt

The new Duel Deck 'Sorin vs Tibalt" comes out on March 15. It is s the 11th set in the Duel Decks series. I analysed 'Sorin vs Tibalt' decklists in terms of valuable cards. I spotted four cards out there and it is titled Sorin, Lord of Innistrad and Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded plus Hellrider and Sulfuric Vortex. Therefore, in total approximately 35 event tickets and 117 other bulk cards used only by casual players. MSRP is $19.99, so it may look like very good deal, but do you think it really is? Don't ever consider buying such Duel Decks from WotC store online, if you want to provide every card available online in your bot, buy them from players, no matter how attractive may be purchasing directly from WotC. Sorin, Tibalt, Hellrider and Sulfuric Vortex price will start falling soon and will establish on 20 event tickets level. It won't happen the very next day, but soon.  It is good time to reduce the number of your Sorin, Lord of Innistrad and Hellrider cards. Remember, the most of players choose the cheapest possible option and usually cards from Duel Deck are slightly more expensive than theirs normal equivalents.  As a result these cards won't generate you much profits. What is your experience in trading Duel Decks or any other collectible stuff? Do you (dis)agree with my point of view?

MTGO Library Bot 5.68 is out

MTGO Library Bot 5.68 has just been released.

It contains a fix regarding the function to "make the collection all tradable", sometimes failing when the bot right-clicked on booster rather than a card.
