MTGO Library Bot 11.32

We have just released ML Bot 11.32. The new version introduces a redesigned card transfer (or "autotransfer") modality with server-side messages. Previous version used the mtgo chat to send and receives messages. This was slow and unreliable. Chat messages will still be active for "human interaction" (so you can still send AT messages to the bots) but bot-to-bot messages will be delivered via server.

What does this mean practically for day-to-day card transfers? This means that card transfer trades will be faster, more reliable, will take less CPU time and less time in general.

MTGO Library Bot 10.21

In the last days we released a couple of major ML Bot updates.

The most important one is ML Bot 10.16, that moved the entire Profit & Margin tool to the online control panel. This let you change the prices in real time, without restarting the bot and from a unique panel. If you have many bots and you want to adjust their prices, you can do it here without accessing the virtual machines. This will save time and make things easier.

We also expanded the tool and let you choose a % correction for price ranges and rarity - you can have, for example, a thin margin on 50+ tixs cards and a large margin on commons.

We also introduced a new option for the "Refill" autotransfer mode, adding the "leave on donor bot at least X cards" option. This basically allows you to specify a refill target (exactly as before) but, if set > 0 , will respect the donor bot and will leave them at least "X" copies of each card.
The previous mode, without that option, worked with the X number equals to "0".

We hope you will enjoy the changes. In the next week we will have many updates regarding pricing, with more tools to offer you control over pricing. We feel that ML Bot is now technically very stable and able to cope efficiently with the MTGO client - we will now work on pricing tools to make your botting life easier.

MTGO Library Bot 9.73

ML Bot 9.73 is a minor build fixing a problem with the load of the file "TransferCollection.txt". The problem was related to the days of weeks - sometimes the bot was unable to read the correct days (for example: "open trade on Monday") and assigned a random day (for example "Thursday") instead of the specified day.

MTGO Library Bot 9.61

With ML Bot 9.61 we fixed some minor problems related to the Card Transfer trades.

  • administrators are now able to send bot-specific commands such as |AT|#refill#4 . You don't really need these commands in order to operate your bots, but now you can use them.
  • we found a problem with the MTGO timed restart every "x" hours and fixed it. Very busy bots were unable to restart MTGO because the restart was triggered only after 45 seconds of idle time - (45 seconds without any trade request).
  • we added a new type of "administrator users", the "accept and confirm trades from". These users are NOT bots - they are meant to be human that should be able to take cards from your bot while not administrator. This is useful if, for example, you sell cards via eBay and you need to deliver them. You don't need to list there your bots.
  • fixed a problem with card transfer where 12am was taken as noon instead of midnight

MTGO Library Bot 9.58

ML Bot 9.58 has just been released.

We worked on making the Automated Card Transfer settings easier to understand and use. In particular our efforts have been directed to removing the "Accept trades from" options and make them automated. After all the bot already knows who are the other bots of his group so there is no real need for this kind of setting.

This required a recode of the handshake process. As result bots prior 9.58 and bots 9.58 won't be able to autotransfer with each other - you need to have all the bots greater than 9.57 (or all less than 9.58).

MTGO Library Bot 8.84

With ML Bot 8.84 we introduced the much-awaited "at mode" working with tickets, the "attixs".
It is a mode that will make your bot get your tickets. We also sligthly changed the way an administrator is greeted and now the bots gives more informative messages.

MTGO Library Bot 8.68

Yesterday we released ML Bot 8.68. The update fixes

  • a problem with Automatic Card Transfer when a "passive" bot was also listed as "admin" - in that case the active bot was unable to complete the trade because it recognized the passive bot as administrator, and waited for input.
  • we changed the way the bot closes MTGO and made it more "gracefully" clicking "Yes" on the close dialog
  • fixed a crash on LauncherGUIChecker.exe
  • fixed a bug that caused the corruption of the database and the inability to handle trades until reinstallation of the bot

Auto Reboot - Keep your bot updated and online.

Hello Botters,

This week we were doing test trades with some of our botters and we stumbled across that more than 60% of them were using an old versions of the bot and 80% of those bots were unable to trade as a result. It is very important to keep the bot updated, or sometimes your bot will simply not complete trades. You can keep updated with an auto-reboot file in your start up menu.

Whats does this do?
It will restart your Virtual machine every 24 hours.

How is this useful?
- Keep your bot updated. This is important because if there are major bugs with the current release this will allow you to update while you are away, potentially saving you from bad trades.

- If an error occurs with your bot then you will have less down time.  Less downtime means more trades and more profits.

How do I set this up?
Step 1: Download the Auto-reboot bat file: Click here!

Step 2: Place the file in your start up folder. You can find this folder here: (type %appdata% in start menus search) C:\Users\Your computer name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Step 3: Mark checkbox on the bot's user interface.

]
Step 4: Restart your Computer, You will see this in the system tray.

We recommend that you only use this on virtual machines, there is a possibility that the restarter.exe for ML bot could fail, during testing we had a 100% success rate. If this fails it will not restart your bot and could result in some downtime.

Happy Botting,
Jason
