MTGO Library Bot 11.67 - Kaladesh

Yesterday we released ML Bot 11.67. The new bot version supports the new set Kaladesh (KLD).

As usual the official pricelist containing the KLD prices is available in the update process and for download from the Online Control Panel. LITE bots have to update as well.

MTGO Library Bot 11.36

A couple of hours ago we released ML Bot 11.36, supporting the new set Eldritch Moon (EMN). Prerelease events start tomorrow, Friday.

Please note that previous bot versions are unable to pick Event Tickets while in trade, due to a change with the latest MTGO build (.621). ML Bot 11.36 fixes the issue. We forced the update to 11.36 from the server so you probably already have 11.36 running on your machines.

ML Bot 11.13 brings Eternal Masters!

We have just released ML Bot 11.13, supporting Eternal Masters (EMA). To trade EMA cards, you have to update the bot client to 11.13 and to download an uptodate pricelist ("CardsMTGO.txt") containing the EMA cards. As usual the pricelist is available for free during the update process and in the bot client installer. LITE bots should update as well.

MTGO Library 10.94 and 10.95 - Shadows over Innistrad

Yesterday we released ML Bot 10.94, supporting the new set Shadows over Innistrad. Today we released  a minor update (ML Bot 10.95) fixing a problem with the mtgo login - sometimes the bot was unable to detect correctly the loading, causing a restart loop.

The updated pricelist containing SOI cards is already available online. You can get it during the update process or in the installer.  LITE bot users should update the pricelist as well.

Wikiprice has already SOI cards, we are just now fixing some card images problems.

Mtgolibrary Bot 10.73 - Oath of the Gatewatch

We released yesterday ML Bot 10.73, supporting the new set Oath of the Gatewatch (OGW). You can download the updated pricelist from the Online Control Panel or use the pricelist available for free during the update process, or the one in the 10.73 installer.

Lite bots should update as well because the pricelist is necessary to handle the new set.

Please note that the prerelease events will start in few hours, so the prices you find online now are default prices and can be wrong. You may want to adjust them or not handle OGW during the first few hours.

We have just released ML Bot 10.59.
It contains a couple of minor bug fixes and it supports the new Legendary Cube (PZ1) set.

As usual the pricelist is already available online and for free during the update process. Lite bots should update as well because the pricelist is needed to load the card names.

MTGO Library Bot 10.01 - Magic Origins

We have just released ML Bot 10.01, supporting the new set Magic Origins (ORI). The pricelist is available online for download and during the installation process, as well in the installer.

Lite bots should update their pricelist as well otherwise the bot will not be able to recognize the ORI cards.

MTGO Library Bot 9.69 - Modern Masters 2015

We have just released ML Bot 9.69, supporting the new set Modern Masters 2015 (MM2). The new pricelist is already available online, and for free during the update process.
LITE bots should update the pricelist as well.

Please don't forget that prices will drop in the first 2-3 days, so don't buy too high till Sunday.

We have just released ML Bot 9.63 supporting Tempest Remastered (TPR). The updated pricelist is available for download on the Online Control Panel and for free during the update process.
As usual LITE bot users should update their bots as well.
Don't forget that prices are very volatile during the first days of  a new set.

MTGO Library Bot 9.46 - Dragons of Tarkir

We have just released ML Bot 9.46, supporting the new set "Dragons of Tarkir" (DTK). The updated pricelist is available for free during the update process. As usual, LITE bots should update as well to get the pricelist with the new card names.

Please note that the prices are currently (we are writing this post at 1:00 pm GMT+0) at their default values, meaning very low buying prices and high selling prices. You may want to do some manual pricing for the first 24 hours, especially for non bulk cards.

MTGO Library Bot 8.61 - Khans of Tarkir

ML Bot 8.61 supports Khans of Tarkir (KTK).


The new pricelist ("CardsMTGO.txt") is available for download on the Online Control Panel and for free during the update process and in the installer.
Lite bots should update as well because the bot uses the pricelist to learn the names of the cards.

Ready to handle M15 - MTGO Library Bot 8.17

ML Bot 8.17 has just been releases, it supports the new Magic 2015 (M15) set. The updated pricelist is available for download from the Online Control Panel and for free during the update process from previous versions. Lite bots should update too.

With 8.17 we fixed some bugs as well:

• the #shortname# command for the messages in the "Trade Room" is now working again
• bot was unable to read many 5DN cards - this is now fixed
• loading of the wishlist is now more robust and should always succeed
• bot is now able to handle the error message "Cannot start application"

Mtgo v3 served us well during the years, but now it's time to move to Mtgo v4! What will you need to do that? First of all, please note that v4 won't work on Windows XP: Wizards infact decided not to support xp:

"One of the decisions we recently made that will help us deliver a better and more performant user experience is the elimination of support for Windows XP at our minimum spec level. Like Microsoft, we have decided to discontinue support for the nearly 13-year-old OS in order to make better use of the upgrades provided by more recent operating systems."

You will then need our new bot for Mtgo v4 (that will be release starting next week) and you will need some more RAM: mtgo v4 uses more ram than v4 and it is computationally more demanding, hence you'll probably need to upgrade your machines a bit. Please install Mtgo v4 on your machine and all that comes with it (NET 4.0 and WPF).

We expect the market to slow down a bit, more or less like what happend with the switch from v2 to v3, but this will recover in a couple of weeks.

MTGO Library Bot 6.97 - Vintage Masters

ML Bot 6.97 has just been released, supporting the new set Vintage Masters (VMA) and Duel Decks: Jace vs Vraska (DDM).

The updated pricelist and bot are already available online for download. LITE bot uses should upgrade too because the pricelist is used as reference for the name of the cards, even if it is not used to price the cards.

MTGO Library Bot 6.87

ML Bot 6.87 has just been released, supporting Journey Into the Nyx (JOU).

As usual the updated pricelist is available for download on the Online Control Panel or for free during the update process. The Lite bots should update too because the pricelist make them capable of handling JOU.

MTGO Library Bot 6.59

The new version of ML Bot (6.59) fixes few minor problems of 6.57. In particular:

• 6.59 is able to buy Born of the Gods Boosters. 6.57 used to pick them, but then removed them from the "You Get" column.
• Boosters will now appear on wikiprice. This should boost the trades since boosters are an important part of the Mtgo economy and wikiprice has always been unable to list them correctly.
• a couple of tunings for wikiprice that should result in a better sync.

MTGO Library Bot 6.57 - Born of the Gods

ML Bot 6.57 supports the new set Born of the Gods - BNG. The new pricelist is available online for download, or automatically during the update process.

We remind all the LITE botters to update their pricelist too because the bot uses it as reference for the names of the cards.

All the botters with slow internet connection and version < 6.53 should update their bots manually using the installer available for download on the Online Control Panel. This problem has been fixed with version 6.54, so if you are already using 6.54 (or superior) you are ok.

MTGO Library Bot 6.43

ML Bot 6.43 changes the order of the initial phases (right after the login). The bot first opens the Classifed room, then creates the csv, and finally posts the Classified message.

The bot is so faster (there are less clicks) and fixes an annoying crash happening on Windows XP.

MTGO Library Bot 6.10

ML Bot 6.10 is a major update. There are many changes under the hood and bug fixes.

• ML Bot 6.10 supports the sets From the Vault: Twenty (V13) and Duel Decks: Heroes vs Monsters (DDL). The updated pricelist is already available online. All the LITE bot users should update too
• we changed the repository server for the trade screenshots and moved to a bigger one. This means that we will keep up to 3 months of screenshots (the current server rotates out the screenshots older than 1 month)
•  The "Restarter.exe" process has been redesigned to be more robust. Sometimes it failed the restart of the bot
• there was an annoying bug regarding the "Booster Correction" in the the Correction Tab. The bot was unable to remember the setting, reverting it to "no correction" after a few hours
• the "Credit Me" function is back! This was necessary because some foil cards cost more than 400 tixs. The function was removed some months ago when the trade limit raised from 75 to 400 tix
