New sets come out every 2/3 months. Innistrad will be out next month. Is a bot able to buy enough card to finish a 4X collection before the new set comes out? That's a very important question because it means that you are able to cope with the new sets and always have an updated and complete collection.
Assuming that a set contains 300 cards and assuming that you want 4 copies of each card, you need 1200 cards to finish a set (300x4). 1200 cards in 60 days mean 20 cards per day – in a nutshell your bot has to buy at least 20 cards per day (on average) to be able to build a new set and don't be overwhelmed by the “flow” of the new entering sets.
20 cards per day is ok, especially if you consider that most of the cards are cheap common or uncommon. With mythics the scenario is slighly different, since a set usually contain 10 / 12 mythics - this means 40-48 mythics in 60 days (once a day).
